Summary: Abstract
Among the alternative sources of energy, the wind source has stood out in Brazil and in the world, proving increasing cost competitiveness and efficiency. Nevertheless, it brings several benefits such as reduced CO2 emissions, reduced impact on its implementation, positive impacts on the communities WHERE wind energy arrives, among others. Thus, this work was divided into two chapters for a better understanding of the information collected. In Chapter 1 there is a bibliometric analysis, in order to identify the factors that are considered essential when planning a wind farm, using the Web of Science - WOS platform. This chapter is an article already published in the International Journal of Advanced Engineering Research and Science in 2019, as an initial result of the research in the Graduate Program in Energy at the Federal University of Espirito Santo. The quantitative bibliometric analysis resulted in 8 articles aligned with the theme and present in several areas of study. And the qualitative bibliometric analysis of the portfolio enabled the characterization and analysis of the selected articles, also elaborating a SWOT Matrix with positive and negative factors on the researched theme. Chapter 2 presents the study to aid decision making, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process Method (AHP), in order to hierarchize the municipalities in the northern state of Espirito Santo (above the Rio Doce channel): Linhares, São Mateus and Conceição da Barra, regarding the potential of receiving the implementation of a wind farm. The results showed that due to the importance that the researchers gave to the environmental indicator, the municipality of Linhares stood out in the priority order in order to define the municipality in the north of the state of Espirito Santo with the greatest potential for implementing a wind farm, for example. present quantitative data related to this indicator higher than the other municipalities.
